For personal reasons related to his father’s death, he will not be an Oiler ever again. He’s stated this is why he didn’t extend with Edmonton and someone posted his mom still comes over from Sweden to see him play and it’s too hard for her to be in Edmonton.
Yep, its a 'bridge is burned' type of feeling. Love Larsson, but he isn't coming back.

I hold no ill-will towards him as I understand the human element to it. But the “business” side I was pretty choked he didn’t let management know his feelings and they could have traded him for something instead of losing him for nothing.
