Rule changes you'd like to see

I do like the idea of widening the bluelines, which was suggested by Scotty Bowman years back. Given that the players are bigger than they were before and rink dimensions have remained the same, why not widen the bluelines? Anything that results in less whistles and stoppages is fine by me.

agreed with the bolded and would be fine with wider blue lines.

Question I have is wouldn't bigger players mean less offsides as there is more of their bodies to stay onside?
 
I'd like to see the blue line looked as more of a plane instead of a painted line. Having to determine if a skate is still on the ice makes no sense to me. If the player's skate hasn't fully crossed the blue line, even if it is off the ice, he's onsides.

That was actually the way the rule use to be. No idea when it was changed but saw I think it was Kerry Fraser talking about it. That when he first came into the league that is the way it was. It was either him or Paul Stewart. Since those seem to be the most vocal ex officials.
