If de Jong were fit and they had a coach, that could be interesting.

Koopmeiners is injured as well. Sucks, because if we had those two we would probably have some real firepower to be one of the favorites for the tournament. But I'd rather they line up like this:

Gakpo - Zirkzee/Depay - Malen
Reijnders - Simons - Schouten
Van de Ven - Ake - van Dijk - Dumpfries

Gives you a lot of speed in the fullbacks. I've also think that Ake has played fantastic for the team this tournament. It's very hard to pick who deserves to start at CB for the Netherlands.


Also, I think it's pretty criminal how they have Xavi and Depay taking corners when Gakpo is incredible at taking corners taking them over Xavi when they were at PSV. Although I understand the hesitation since he is quite good at headers as well.
