Romania had good first 10-15 minutes, but then were incabable of doing anything offensively until suddenly coming alive during the last few minutes during added time.

If they can start the 2nd half like that, they still have hope.

Unfortunately some of our best players in the tournament like Ratiu, Man or Stanciu seem overwhelmed today. And we have no answer for Dumfries, Hagi isn't a defensive player and our left back is some rando who plays in Poland and who's barely featured. Not optimistic but hey one goal and we're even.

Well based on everything we know about the sides, Romania was hardly going to carry play. I think their best shot was always to keep a clean sheet and hope for some luck/a great play on the other end. They just couldn't really afford to fall behind, and when they did, their odds went from legit underdog to 'so you say there's a chance?'
