The Captain is probably sleeping but he`ll love this when he sees it.

Bunnaman named captain of Kitchner.
“Connor Bunnaman exemplifies all the qualities we value in a team captain,†said head coach Jay McKee. “On and off the ice he consistently leads by example.
“Connor is the type of person and player who is highly respected by his teammates, not only for what he does on the ice, but for the quality person he is off the ice.
“We are very proud to announce Connor Bunnaman as our team captain for the 2017-18 season.â€
Other teams don't stand a chance.
Bunnaman is a bit of a dilemma, he's played so much better at center than wing that you almost have to keep him there, but that creates a bit of a logjam with Vorobyev and Rubtsov next year - and only one open spot in the NHL next season (4C). Rich peoples problems.
It's a good problem, but I also hope they give both Vorobyev and Bunnaman significant time in the middle in preseason and not just a cursory look. The next Center to get some NHL run is going to be a decision that daisy chains on down the org.
What are the rules about how many call ups after the deadline? They should call some of them up now, before the deadline, to get a few games in for more players. There’s no reason they can’t give some of the youth a 10-15 game tryout following the deadline, something they should have done in 16-17 when it was clear Morin Sanheim and Hagg were going to get a legit shot at the NHL the following season.
Not sure. I feel like @Curufinwe might know the answer to that. What are the rules about how many call ups after the deadline? They should call some of them up now, before the deadline, to get a few games in for more players.
Bunny really reminds me of a slightly bigger Raffl, with better hands. He's a big strong character kid who can skate well enough and has some touch around the net. Won't likely be more than a bottom 6 NHLer but could play up lineup if necessary. I haven't seen, except highlights, how his skating is progressing - that will be the key for both him and Twarynski. There’s no reason Bunny can’t play wing. Usage is the explanation for his streak; along with him being a solid player. I’ve seen him play wing many times.

Will this guy ever be an NHLer, and If so, in what regard?
