Kolosov:
2022-23: .912 Sv%, .917 in 3 PO games. .892 in 4 Int'l games. Backup, Shostak .909
2023-24: .907 Sv%, .925 in 6 PO games, .875 in 2 Int'l games. Backup, Ferguson .904

Watching him, he's athletic with a quick glove, but he's also 6'0, so positioning and anticipation is vital b/c he can't just block the net. And that generally comes with experience.
We don't really ever agree, but I agree with you here. Kolosov doesn't do much for me. He's small and from seeing a few clips, really relies on his athleticism, which seems to be great. I don't know how well that's going to translate to the NHL, but I don't think he's the answer.

Saros on Nashville is listed at 5'11 180, so you can play well at his size, but there are only a few small goalies in the NHL, so there's more risk.

Saros at 19: Liiga, .929 Sv%, backup (13g) .880 Sv%
Saros at 20: AHL .920 Sv%, 1B .912 Sv%
Saros at 21: AHL .934, NHL .923%

Don't think Kolosov has shown anything that suggests he's in the same tier as Saros.

Wonder why Sochi is so bad, looking at a map, Minsk and Sochi are probably the two best places to live in the KHL. Moscow of course, but you need to be highly paid to enjoy it.

They are poor.

Same as a lot of the best places to live in the NHL for years were bad.

Could not pay for top players and don't have a big fan base etc.
