Thought things were going well except for the Tampa PP's... Lines need to be shuffled up. Get dirty and get mean. Or this is over.

I'm pretty confident in our coaching staff. I'm confident that they won't make a single adjustment.

Its actually crazy how much better Tampa is even without 2 of their top players.

This team is so far away from contending..

I wish we were those StL Blues, who've been a contender for half a decade and have totally not lost in the first round three times in a row and have not been past the second round in forever. See what I did there?

Fortunate to get out of that period down one. If Detroit can gain some composure during intermission still a lot of game left.

The game is too fast for Zetterberg right now. Pav has lost a lot of his speed but he's still getting by on his stick skills and smarts. Hank really is offering nothing right now...he's a the worst combination of old and worn down.

Agreed he is realgud.

He is good.

They still need to shrink goalie pad size.

Same dude.

(to be clear, I'm not saying his giant pads are the reason the Wings are losing. I just don't like the trend of tall skinny goalies in giant pads.)

Z is still great at possessing the puck, passing, and making strong defensive plays around his own net. But his lack of speed has definitely hurt his offensive game and backchecking. He's basically hanging on through wily veteran tricks.

Datsyuk has always succeeded by slowing the game down, so his getting slower with age doesn't hurt him as much.

LOL, even the CBC commentators are calling out Blashill.

Can't wait til this series goes down 0-2 and Blashill says "Well, I don't know if you guys remember when this team was down 0-2 back in 2002, but we were really able to fight back then..."
