Obviously have to have the best period of the year in the third. The Canes aren’t going to make it easy on us.

Dowd and Eller just aren’t providing enough. Each has 1 point in 8 games in playoffs as of now. Neither one a plus player.

Add in PLD who has just 2 points and the centers outside Stome just aren’t doing enough.

We need our centers to get better or we need to put Leonard in for Eller or something because we need something more from the centers.

The way I see it, Caps had a good 1st period with scoring chances they couldn't put in the net. In the 2nd, Canes got a break off an offensive zone faceoff for 1 goal, and then took advantage of a penalty by Alexeyev for a PP goal. That is the difference so far. Sometimes the team playing better doesn't score, and the opposing team does score on a few chances.

Those giving up and saying oh well onto Game 4, what kind of fans are you?! There is 1 period left and the scoreboard could change. Let us see what happens. I hope no one is blaming LT, when we haven't even scored a goal yet in this game.
