Agree on Pro and Ovie. Disagree on the D--at least team D. They were stout for much of game 2. Not having Fever is a big loss, but they can manage.I saw Nicky and Alzner last night at the Nats game last night in the Diamond Club. I resisted the temptation to talk to Karl and tell him yeah that was me that approached you at Kettler 17 years ago asking about playing right vs left side. For the record he said offside is harder of course. I talked to Nick's friend who was really short and almost asked if he wasStankyKeith Acton. Turns out it was Backie's son's hockey coach.
Pro is not 100% yet. Ovi seems off probably injured since he wasn't firing one timers last name. D seems a hot mess just trying to survive shifts. We can't get a line consistently providing offense. The series may come down to Willy and Logan carrying the team.
so glad they got to experience montreal's crowd in the first round, that'll help moving forward on the road. move your f***ing feet boys, finish your checks, score more than them and last but not least:
This is probably the best outcome we could get out of these two road games. Canes are so tough at home.Get the split…..4-3 good guys…..
WIN
Fair point but a lot of that stout D was blocked shots which resulted from them running and chasing for a large portion of both games. I just seem to remember panicked sloppy clears and passing when they we finally did get the puck. But they are not alone, the forwards in our D zone weren't much better.Agree on Pro and Ovie. That's accurate for game 1. Game 2... maybe for 6 minutes out of the 60.I just seem to remember panicked sloppy clears and passing when they we finally did get the puck.
I thought what I saw included game 2 into the 2nd period but I trust you and not my eyes that have witnessed probably 10K periods of caps hock in my illustrious spectating career. That's accurate for game 1. Game 2... maybe for 6 minutes out of the 60.
Wondering which line will play the most against Aho.
