Pretty telling when our bottom 6 (including Nylander on the 4th line) was out for the last 2 minutes of the period.

Yeah, the core forwards have been horrible. We're not winning this game if they don't step it up, there's no way we're gonna sit on a 1-0 lead to beat Florida.

So many times they had the chance to throw a shot for a delection or rebound on net and chose the low percentage play of throwing it behind the net only to not retrieve it.

They forgot how they scored on Vasilevsky.

That might have been our worst period so far this series lol. First time we looked overmatched, but it wasnt that bad.

First line couldn't get anything going. Someone screw Marner's head on in the intermission please. JT/Jarny besides one play didn't do anything. RoR line looked good/great. Lafferty & Kampf were good. The 11/7 seems to be working for the bottom of the lineup.

Didn't mind any of the defenseman. Gus & Schenn stood out for me in positive ways. Nobody did anything too egregious, and even Holl settled down after he looked nervous early.

Kinda wonder how McCabe is the trailing man on a 2 on 1.

Was actually a great read... I think the Leafs really used their time wisely to really digest the aggressiveness of the FLA 5 man unit.

This is their forecheck... With a D pinching in almos all the time, if you can make a heads up play quickly,you can catch the Panthers before the forwards reload... McCabe saw Tavares had a look and found Jarnkrok.. He needs to bury it.

Florida's got last change and they are moving the puck up the ice and out of zone as soon as Matthews is on the ice. Bunting not heavy enough and marner being complete trash isn't helping.
