GDT: Round 2 Game 2

The tally for Raddysh:
-last in SCF%
-2nd to last in CF%, xGF%, FF% (Protas had a very bad game)
-3rd to last in HDCF%
-benched (with Eller) for the last 12:42 of the game after that 2+ minute shift (which was the fault of several players, not just Raddysh, but he contributed)

Leonard may not be converting on his chances, but at least he gets to the offensive zone on occasion.

Yeah, Ovi had that coming for a bit. He’s the captain and he knows the team needs more from him.

Good news is that we could win today despite Ovi playing like shit. I feel like that almost never happens in the playoffs, we’re usually doomed if he’s not on his game.

Yeah I'd love to switch back to Leonard but he's not going to change the lineup after a win, not how he coaches. I'd be surprised if he did, but maybe it's the loffs.

I had the Caps in 6, but the Canes are severe pests. If the Caps can rattle Andersen then I think they can still do it in 6. I hope the Caps win both road games just to shut up Ferraro and crew and of course I love road warriors Caps.

This, plus the difference in the game wasn't Raddysh vs Leno by any stretch. This was a team win, much better energy and still a LOT of room for improvement, better clears, etc.

Easier to protect a lead playing half your time on O, just like the rest of the game. Giving away the neutral zone and chipping/icing everything out cost us Game 1, could've cost us this one, too. Being conservative with a lead is one thing, but gifting them zone entries and O-zone draws is weak sauce.

I love Carbery, but someone needs to talk to him about that shit... ;)
