It might be because of his play too. He's stickhandling in dangerous areas without skating, leading to chances against. They realllllllllly need to just skate to create angles, Carolina is giving them an out that they're not taking.

Strome is maybe a hair above ovechkin in terms of speed and quickness... which is not saying much, alot of his issues are due to the same. If you flank him with speed, it might work, but ovechkin and strome on the same line is a death sentence in the playoffs.
