I think upsizing Gio and Brodie into Tanev and OEL, turning Schenn into Carlo, Holl into Benoit and not having a soft underbelly like Liljegren will make some difference.

Leafs being ready to play the series will factor into how well they do in the series. In 2023, they were unprepared to start the series and especially fumbled that Game 2 when they came out with the lead, then lost Game 3 in Florida in OT. That series could have been 2-1 Leafs. But that's loser talk, like when the Sens were talking about how they could have been easily up in the Toronto series.

Leafs are in deep. No expectations but let's see how Game 1 goes.

They also had 1 day off inbetween series.

I really didn't think dallas was going to tie this game... on the other hand, if the leafs cam beat Florida, I think they'll make it to the finals

Tkachuk also decided to say today that this isn't a high pressure series, in a way that strongly suggests they see the Leafs as an easy opponent. Feed off of that.

But seriously, if you thought the last series was insanely one-sided in terms of penalties vs. PP's, buckle up, because I 100% expect Florida to have a PP advantage in every game.

Watching Rantanens performances the last two games, one can't help but wonder what could have been. Dominant performances in big time games as he wills his team into the next round.

Game 6, he has a goal and 3 assists. Tonight, Game Seven he has 3 goals and an assist.

I saw that tour in Calgary in the 80's. And lemme tell ya, that band can put on a show. What band can overcome losing their charismatic front man and emerge as an even BETTER band? I can't think of another example.

Van Halen after DLR?

Most memorable shows I've seen:

- As mentioned, that AC/DC show - easily the most entertaining band I've seen live.
- Iron Maiden - waited years to see them, finally got rewarded at an outdoor amphitheater at a state park south of Cleveland. Great show and meant a lot to me but nothing really earth shattering.
- Elton John in the 90s in Hamilton - easily the most talented musician I've ever seen live. This guy is insanely good and you forget how much content he has. We literally had to leave the show during the second encore because it was 1:00am and we had to work in the morning.
- This is the biggie: Page-Plant in 1998 at the Molson Amphitheatre. I was a giant Zep fan and my buddy and I snuck up to 2nd row. The band could have pissed on me I was so close. This is easily my favourite concert experience.
- And now to address your question: I saw Van Halen when they reunited with David Lee Roth I think early 2000s because it was definitely at the ACC. Show was nothing special but I'm glad I had the experience.
