You're in playoff so you don't dress a goalie just to keep him warm in case you need him later. You play the guy giving you the bewt chance to win and that stop here it since 2 month that guy was clearly Stolarz... So no reason at all to put Woll in.

If Stolarz would had an other bad game in gm 5, It should had been considerated but was not the case.

Stolarz allowed 2 goal or less in 5 of 6 game...
That's not the reason either, maybe try reading what I said more carefully.

Wasn’t/Isnt Woll sick right now apparently, so playing him couldn’t have been a legit option against Ottawa anyways. Not sure how he’s feeling now

Time to slay this monster

I picked other. My MVP in a close race with Stolarz is Tanev. I don't know where this team would be without the poise he displays on defence. Rarely makes the wrong play, blocks a ton of shots that if they got through who knows how many goals the other team would have.

Good pieces not mvp at all our mvp is a forward for sure which I’ll leave to everyone to decide woll is a better goalie than stolie Hes shown it and mccabe Is just as good as tanev if not better both are important but not more than our forwards

Wrong answer. Stolarz their former backup, goes down 0 to 2. Woll comes in too late. He wasn't that good. Just like Boston.

Woll is better than Stolarz? And McCabe is better than Tanev? Heck no. Definitely disagree with both points.

Those pining to give Woll some time will almost not doubt get to see him as I expect Tkachuk, Marchand, Bennett, and a few others to "accidentally fall" on Stolarz. This Florida team is dirty as f***
I'm fascinated to see how the Leafs handle a lot of the post-whistle stuff.

They seemed very measured and comfortable letting a lot of that go in the Ottawa series. I expect a similar approach from Berube's team in round 2 - BUT, if you get a Tkachuk/Guentzel or an Ekblad / Hagel situation, how do you just ignore it?

Nah, our defence, goalie, and system won us this series. Leading the way was Tanev. McCabe is NOT better than Tanev and certainly wasn't this series. I was disappointed with McCabe last night.

He looked shaky last night, not sure if nerves or an injury but he certainly didn't look comfortable.
Had forgotten about it after the win but it was definitely noticeable.

There’s going to be ups and downs with every player on the ice. Hopefully different players step up in different games.

Leafs need to limit mistakes and get pucks on net. A little luck could get them through this round. If you look at most (if not all) of Ottawa’s goals they were either shots from the point that Stolarz couldn’t see or tipped, or they scored on mistakes/turnovers by the leafs. Those lucky goals can be the difference in a series like this.

It's a big series. The Leafs only did what's expected of a NORMAL franchise.

We made it out of the 1st round 2 years ago, but got caved in by Florida, if it happens again it's still not good enough.
We didn't get caved by Florida, we scored several moral victories.

He hate two or three monster hits early in the first - wasn't able to tell whether he was laboring after one of those hits, or before, but I agree; didn't look comfortable. He's been quite composed with the puck but that was missing last night as well.
