That's their top 2 guys. If there was ever a time we were going to beat the Panthers, it's this year.

My only concern is Bennett and Marchand running wild trying to injure guys. Lay the body on those little f***ers early and fully expecting Knies to make Bennett his bitch this series. No chance he forgot about that dirty hit, or as Panthers fans like to say "tangled up" that concussed him.

Take it to these guys early and punish them, finish every check and keep laying the body on them. They're playing banged up, make life miserable for them.

Have to take both at home. Game 1 and Game 2 just like with Ottawa. It's a great time to play Florida I agree.

Solid goalie and depth matching the opponent made a big difference.

i think panthers just outmatch us, especially with how matthews and marner have been

we will need them to actually show up on even strength to score every game, not just be content with playing defence against the likes of amadio and pinto

stolarz needs to wake the f*** up, he was horrendous down the stretch of the series. Mcmann might as well have been in the press box, laughton was alright but choked his chances. Patches scored but wasn't that great all arond.

if the defence holds, stolarz or woll play well, the core 4 continue to produce, and we get some contributions from the bottom 6 then we might be able to win the series

I think you will be surprised at how well Toronto handles Florida. It will no doubt be a series of close games, but Florida is going to have a hard time producing offense against the leafs.

Yes, little chance we start two days later. I didn't hear about that.

But if the Jets and Blues go to 7, that won't be until Sunday... so I don't think the league has two rounds playing at the same time.

I don't think we will be holding the Panthers to 3-8 shots a period. Here and there? Maybe. But it won't be the norm.

This game was probably the worst our D has played in the playoffs so far... and still managed to eek out the win. I believe 34 and 88 covered that off.

All that to say, the D and going to have to be steady, and ready!

Panthers will hit hard and be dirtier in this series .. I like the Leafs’ approach against Ottawa in the physical department. They need to continue that and not get suckered in.

I went with Stolarz as the series MVP (although Tanev and Willy could easily be MVP as well). He never folded or let in a stinker at the wrong time, putting the game out of reach. Three goals scored pretty much wins most playoff games and he pretty much kept it to two goals against every game.

I went other, i think Tanev was our best and most consistent player

Should be a good series

If our special teams, goaltending, defensive system and big 4 show we've got a very good chance imo
If we get on a roll we need to keep it going though, you can't give a team like the Panthers multiple opportunities to win the series or they will make you pay
