He can be our Evan Rodriguez this year, Tampa will be paying attention to the big guys, and not match up properly with Samo, he does not need much because of his speed.

Yeah, he has the tools. OTOH I am curious how ERod will perform this year. He has proven that he is a player that can be counted on during crunch time. He really can play with anybody. Samo either has to show the same versatility or countinue his play from the regular season (maybe even elevate it)

I don't understand why many feels that Samo is not going to perform well, that kid is a gamer, he is fast, he can cycle pretty good, he can make sharp corners at high speed, he can shoot, he is intelligent, the kind of guy you want your daughter to date.

We are all in agreement here, it has been said, that he is excellent at scoring five holes.

As I mentioned before, most of Samos hits and physical play have come in 2025. Something switched in his head as the calendar did. He started getting feistier and more aggressive. It's quite visible in his play as well, and it's resulted in success. I don't expect him to shy away from it for the playoffs.

When everyone was struggling down the final stretch he looked like he was the only who cared, most visible player then.

Ah, good point. And I almost forgot the bingo square of "one player gets sick during series, multiple guys out of the lineup due to sickness".

That Cooper challenge was great. It was both unlikely to actually be overturned and making a desperate move like that it showed his team that he didn't think they could come back down 3-1 with half the game still left to play.
