Also got to say that you can see the winning culture this team has established over the past couple of years. Years ago, Samo would’ve been a decent scorer who would’ve been soft as f*** and scored some pretty goals just because of his shot. This kid is 5’10 and is fighting in the corners like a rabid dog and has the skill to boot. That’s the things winning culture does.

Benny stats last night:

1 goal and 1 adoption on 1 SOG, 1 assist, 7 hits, +2 in 11:50 TOI.
He averaged 17.5 mins during regular season.

Once Tkachuk feels better I'd expect that line to increase closer to 14-15 mins and swap with Lundells line depending on score and circumstances.

I'll be devastated if we don't re-sign Benny.

However, the Panthers were really exhausted due to playing too much hockey in the last few years. Barely could hang on with the Bolts' speed and physicality. the Panthers got lucky and the refs were clearly working for the Panthers. a 6-2 win is definitely not indicative of how this series will end. Bolts in 5.
