He literally just finished top 5 in scoring. And has 94 point season under his belt. If the Leafs shopped him there would be many takers, regardless of his playoff resume.

Everyone is aware of his regular season ability, but why is someone taking on that much money for someone who isnt worth 3 million in the playoffs?

I don’t doubt his skills, but there is no way I’d want to see a team I root for bring that contract in right now

Canada's cases are down nearly 70% from last month. And here in the US, where restrictions are being lifted, cases continue to go down - vaccine or not.

Oh it's a great trend for sure. The vaccinations are working however our local government is so so so so so bad that we've been going in the opposite direction. Now we are in semi-lockdown again and our numbers are finally starting to drop again.
