I still don’t as long as old guard like Jacobs / Uncle Lou are around, but they’re all starting to disappear, being replaced by hedge fund types in ownership, who are heavy analytics types & analytics is focused on performance output, physicality / intimidation / character etc. are not analytically measurable performance outputs… at present

I think we will have to agree to disagree on this one, and the fact you used this argument in the Xhekaj threads to justify him not being in the line up before game 1 had make me believe that you thought those changes where eminent, we can clearly see in every series so far that intinidation and physicality is still big part of NHL playoffs, and in my opinion.....always will be.

I dont buy it. If he's playing - it means he's 100%. Yeah it looked bad last game - but good for him if he didn't get hurt.

Thompson may be the difference maker but let's be honest...he is nothing special.
