Contract year… scares the living shit out of me to entertain this idea. However the going word is he has great chemistry with the group off the ice, so that could have also played a hand in his new found determination
Before there was no emotion on his face. Like he didn't belong with the guys, the city, the team, go figure. Now he seems to have chemistry with the "guys", His body language tells "I'm with you guys". That means a lot if you decide to keep him or not.

That next game will be crucial for the Caps. I think they will be smarter this time. Coaching staff will be the most "cold head" possible. The fightings can be a distraction, they will bring the best hockey they can just to make sure they win and forget the extra hits and intimidation. I expect to see a much better Caps team this time. Both teams can fall into a trap with the bullying and big hitting play. The smarter team wins the game.

That's a wild take but you're entitled to it.

This series is 3-0 Montreal without him.
I think we beat ourselves in the first 2 games. We could've won the 1st game and while Thompson had his say on it, We missed our chances, same as game 2 with Evans wide open net and some other missed opportunities.

Not saying Thompson didn't play well, he was great, but he wasn't unbeatable. I think we missed our chances more than he stole from us in those games.

Now? if he's at 80% coming in this game, I really doubt he'll be able to steal a game while playing injured.

I'm 100% confident with Dobes. He always elevate his game when that's really matters. Since he play with Habs, he makes always great save in 3rd period or overtime. This guy is a gamer.

I'm very high on him since I watch him with Habs, I like everything I see from him. He is big, he is great behind his net to make great pass to his teammates and he is very agressive in all ways.

Good luck tonight Doby and Go Habs Go!!

My concern is how psychotic Wilson can be and his ability to do something dangerously dirty.

Yeah he was mocking Slaf who sounded emotional after game 2

Mocking the 21 year old on the other side who is outperforming him considerably this far in the series is an interesting approach...

Hope Wilson doubles down and Slaf makes him swallow those crocodile tears lol
