I wouldn’t say the series is ours just because of a goalie. The Capitals won both the games they needed too and even if they lose tomorrow, they have home ice advantage which could be huge because last change was really beneficial to us last night. But we are definitely back in this thing. We can’t go down 3-1.

I said from the start we'd win if Lindgren played. I'm sticking to it.

Dobes is currently undefeated this season against the Capitals, including last night's playoff game. He's the only Habs goaltender to defeat them this year. I've seen enough of him to say he's better than Lindgren.

But, Habs will have to keep playing playoff hockey the way they did yesterday.

This is only valid vs the Caps btw. lol

If Thompson is not playing, I don't see Caps have an advantage in net. Dobes is solid. Too small sample size though, but generally solid for a rookie.

Monty played solid hockey playoffs, but if he is out for the rest of this series, I'm very confident with Dobes. I think he will elevate his game even more. The goal against Ovechkin, he can't do anything on that.

Lindgren has had flashes and helped them reach the playoffs last year as well as contributed to their record this year. He should give the Capitals some hope.
