Either you have Thornton or Hyman on that top unit, you can't have both. Take Nylander in place of Thornton and play that unit for 1:20-1:30. You need to put your skill on the top pp. The way they utilize players on the PP is so frustrating. It's so obvious Thornton doesn't belong there.

Not many faceoffs are off a 5-man scrum causing a PP. Works the same way if there were no penalties at all on that play.

Thornton needs to play gritty. He's been losing value big time this playoffs. I'd re-sign Spezza next year, I'd bring back Simmonds (his style and attitude can't be replaced), I'd re-sign Bogosian...and sadly Jumbo is the only vet I wouldn't bring back. He's gotta play like he did that game against the Jets that we all refer to. At least look like you want your first cup man. Start playing pissed off. He's effective when angry

I think Thornton has been passable on the PP. But Nylander would be better for sure. I don't think they want to put Marner and Nylander on the same PP, stick handling overload. I got a solution.
