That Simmonds move right there is exactly what PP1 is missing, the drive to the net on the backhand. Not only does it make the goalie respect the puck carrier more, but it opens up new passing lanes to the outside

Might as well get Marner off PP1 because he can't shoot and so once his cross ice pass is taken away he's entirely useless. Put Nylander there and at least you'll have shooting threats on both half walls.

Reminds me of the arm save Price made on Marner in the first game...Yes he did well to get over there for sure but the puck to hit his arm in the first game then his stick now is just bad luck with so much net above and below...
