He is? Who is he not.I mean, the team needs to stink so I’m fine not improving it for the time being, but like, then sell.
He does nothing.

Having 2nd thoughts 6 months into a 7 year deal would be impressive, even by the insanely low standards i hold most NHLers to regarding general IQ...The smoke about Gav not wanting to be here goes back to before the season ended
i don't particularly like Drury, and i certainly don't want to defend Drury; but you judge him on moves made or not the week after the draft, not the week before itI mean, the team needs to stink so I’m fine not improving it for the time being, but like, then sell.

Sure but his record so far (years) is hardly inspiring.i don't particularly like Drury, and i certainly don't want to defend Drury; but you judge him on moves made or not the week after the draft, not the week before it
He got embarrassed on the Panarin deal. Trying to be a 'good guy'.I mean, the team needs to stink so I’m fine not improving it for the time being, but like, then sell.

We need a grandslam with 1st round picks. The bad part is Kreider was the last first round pick 09 draft that was a consistent top 6 forward for 20 goals and thatbwasn't a bust like Kravtsov, Lias Andersson, McIlrath, all 1st round picks during bad years that all busted, Kakko and Lafy was rushed into pro hockey. Rangers do well with mid and late picks. Didn't count JT Miller because he was dealt here too soon.He got embarrassed on the Panarin deal. Trying to be a 'good guy'.
We've traded, Trouba, Kreider, Kakko, KAM and Panarin for Greentree and a late 1st. ( in terms of tangible value; things that may actually help the NHL team ) Gonchar looks promising too. Although there's some good pieces that came back, the value and long term impact on the success of the NHL team has been minimal.
We need a massive game winning grand slam with one of our later picks, as well as hitting with our #5.
Well that’s how dire it is. We need to hit on our firsts and then land a Hintz, Kaprizov or Point type in the late rounds. We need a grandslam with 1st round picks. The bad part is Kreider was the last first round pick 09 draft that was consistent and wasn't a bust like Kravtsov, Lias Andersson, McIlrath, all 1st round picks during bad years that all busted. Does Drury have the guts or brains to do that? Watch McTavish get dealt in a package for Larkin or Islanders for BarzalIf we came out the other side of the draft with Bjorck, McTavish, a high-upside forward prospect, and some more draft capital for next year I wouldn't be too upset
A lot of it is cost dependent. There's a certainly a price that is too high for McT, so if someone else wants to pony up we should absolutely be backing out, Schneider + something for McT, yes. Schneider + Cuylle + picks, no.Does Drury have the guts or brains to do that? Watch McTavish get dealt in a package for Larkin or Islanders for Barzal
