If this is true, anything positive Lou did during his tenure will be erased as far as I'm concerned. That's a dirt bag move.
Will have to wait for further confirmation but given how bad Bridgeport was last season and knowing that Lou's contract was up and him not being extended was a possibility, that would be an awful thing to do on the way out. Only consolation is that I can't imagine it being a big expense.
Not sure when, specifically, he is implying these deals were made, but if it was actually “just prior” to his departure, then one would think they had to be signed off by the owners. If it was done without consulting the owners because they had given him complete control without questions being asked, then it is a very shady move and shows why you cannot give one guy that much control.
I am hoping one of the Isles writers will clarify this soon, I noticed Rosner deleted his post about it.

He has a full NTC this season, so if anything he is a '26-27 deadline asset.

Where is that clear? New season, different team, different circumstances. Training camp will dictate whether he pushed a veteran aside.

Yeah, this happens everywhere though. Doesn’t bother me. Happened to Snow even from Wang. Call it what you want but you’d probably do it too for people loyal to you to get a good severance on your way out.

Darche went on a podcast in French and basically called the core Barzal, Dobson, Sorokin, Horvat, Romanov, Pelech and Pageau.
