The wording implies that, however accepting that it's Brock's decision we don't know if it's because he doesn't want to be here at all, or that he doesn't want to be here for the offers that he's getting. For example, if he's being offered 2 years at $6M per year, whose decision is that really when he moves on?

On a somewhat related note, if you add Rantanen along with Marchand and Crosby to the list of potentially available players, Lou needs to act sooner rather than later if he plans on doing anything at all.

There is something seriously wrong with Lou if he is just going to sit on this team, are the owners aware how damaging he is to the future of this team? By Lou doing nothing and not being heavy sellers he is going to ensure the Islanders are going to suck for the next decade, do the owners get this and realize that equals horrible ticket sales?
