I’ve been kinda underwhelmed by bunting but am pretty surprised they’re moving on from him this early, especially as a medium to big name free agent that chose to come here. I always kinda figured what they really wanted was his shit stirrer act in the playoffs so I was kinda reserving judgment until then. Although I don’t know if it was really much of his contribution the power play has been a revelation this year and I really hope it doesn’t fall off without him

im worried cause we been burnt with Pittsburgh movies since the Whalers days , fingers cross its Bunting and someone like Suzuki and those 2 Awesome draft picks we got from T.O.

Stu Grimson just said on NHL Now that he’s heard the interest in Guentzel hasn’t been robust as expected and that the package may be underwhelming. Fingers friggin crossed.
I don't know, but I'm pretty sure the Canes do take-it-or-leave-it offers on pretty much everyone who has their name thrown out there, in the hopes eventually the stars will align and the market will force the other GM to take their embarassing offer.

(This is why Carolina is "in" on everyone)
