I put it in the Necas thread, but a good deal about the roster building from Tulsky yet again.
Also mentions Gibson’s name but that’s just speculation on Lebrun’s part

I think Foegele kind did turn into that player as well. He had 20G, 41P last year. This year he has 6G, 10P, +7 in 19 games, all at Even Strength while playing on the 3rd line. He's the same age as Warren Foegele and so far has been the exact player we hoped Foegele would eventually turn into.

McLovin is still the player we let go I miss the most. Not just for his play on the ice which was solid but I no longer get to make unbelievably accurate McLovin jokes about him every game.I think Foegele kind did turn into that player as well. You’d have to get him at 25 or 50 retained I don’t think they’d wanna have him on the books for his current price for another 2 seasons after this one but his value has never really been lower definitely seems like a canes type pickup if they can get him for cheap. He needs a change of scenery I think he could still be a good goalie on a team like CarolinaIt obviously depends on how severe Andersen's injury is (there's a bunch of mixed signals and Brindy is not the most trustworthy when it come to timeline), but Gibson is the most Canes-adjacent pickup currently available for trade.
I love the symmetry of the Canes trading for Gibson to replace Freddy. It obviously depends on how severe Andersen's injury is (there's a bunch of mixed signals and Brindy is not the most trustworthy when it come to timeline), but Gibson is the most Canes-adjacent pickup currently available for trade.

I was not thinking injury issues, but more like Anaheim pushing Freddy out in favor of Gibson, and then us doing the same thing. There is that one caveat where Gibson is 4 years younger than Freddy, so he might be more reliable health-wise for that reason alone. TBF, though, the blood-clotting issue last year was a genetic medical issue more than an age thing.

Tyger tyger burning bright.I love the symmetry of the Canes trading for Gibson to replace Freddy.
Its happened on like 2 and probably soon to be 3 teams now. We didn't coin the freddie flu thing you know.I was not thinking injury issues, but more like Anaheim pushing Freddy out in favor of Gibson, and then us doing the same thing.
IIRC, in Anaheim, it was that the Ducks felt they had 3 NHL goalies in Andersen, Hiller and Gibson (who was the future) so he was the odd man out.Its happened on like 2 and probably soon to be 3 teams now. We didn't coin the freddie flu thing you know.
I thought you were quoting someone else on this boardIt seems there may be some confusion or playfulness in the phrasing of your question. The term "Saad-imized" doesn't have a clear meaning in the context of hockey or the Staal family. If you’re referring to the possibility of the Carolina Hurricanes (often called the Canes) leveraging the Staal family's presence on the roster (Marc, Eric, and Jordan Staal) to foster team chemistry or performance, that’s a common strategy in sports; teams often benefit from the dynamics of family connections.
As for "Saad farmers," it appears to be a humorous or fictitious expression, possibly referencing Brandon Saad, a professional hockey player, rather than a legitimate rumor. The integration of family dynamics can definitely play a role in team culture and success, but it’s best to rely on more specific developments or statements from the team for accurate information.
If you need details about player personnel or team strategies, please provide more context, and I'd be happy to help!

AI was pretty douchey there.
Except we’ll be pushing him out on a stretcher.I was not thinking injury issues, but more like Anaheim pushing Freddy out in favor of Gibson, and then us doing the same thing.
A ford raptor works for me but I can't afford it.A Shesterkin/Kochetkov tandem works for me.
