Comparing trades across sports usually isn't a 1 to 1 type of thing. IIRC, large trades with a ton of moving parts and players isn't THAT unusual in the NBA. They're much more rare in the NHL.

That said, a player, prospect, and a pick with a player and a pick coming back is "5 assets" overall and not that crazy

I don't know - a calculated risk could mean a lot of things - taking on Lucic, or giving up what some (or many) of us might think is too much for Nylander/Marner/Tkachuk - I'm still not clear on whether the under 25 player is coming in or going out or both.

Not sure why anyone would want poolbust. I remember watching highlights of him in the U18. Guy had a ton of scoring chances and had no finish(no pun intended).
