Totally and 100% agree.

That being said, it rubs me the wrong way that he showed up out of shape to start camp two years running now. If it's part of my job to be in top physical condition when the time calls for it, I'm making sure of it.

We cannot afford to offer Kakko 5 per year this offseason.

Unless Kakko comes back from this most recent injury and lights the playoffs on fire (which I hope he does), his extension won't be more than 2 years at $2.5MM.
