who’s saying it’s not a concern. The question is what’s to be done?Or some fans saying a player quit last season but that shouldn't be a concern for next season.

Not even Lafreniere? Think about the marketing possibilities with Laferriere. This is LA!You will not get Clarke for any player on your team
Clarke is much more needed in LA and much better playerNot even Lafreniere? Think about the marketing possibilities with Laferriere. This is LA!
It means that hockey and the Rangers aren't his life's top concern. With his ironclad long-term lucrative contract, he's waiting for the right staff and environment to come along like Goldilocks. This is the part I don't get:
"I'm really unhappy with this organization... also... I AIN'T LEAVING!!!!!"
Rangers probably should keep Lafreniere. His value is low and he's a good 5v5 scorer on his worst days. If he moves his feet and gets in shape, that contract is a nothing burger for the production he'll give us. And that's even before the likely bump in PP time he'll recieve. He's kind of in the same boat as Kandre as much as Im down on both guys.
Theres a good young foundation on this team and it includes Fox, Lafreniere, Kandre, Schneider, Cuylle, Edstrom, Rempe, Perreault, Berard. We need a young center and a another young puck moving D. I dont think it's Zac Jones. I like JT, Trocheck and Borgens as far as the veterans go but they are more protected out of positionally necessity
Seriously the list of "reasons" Mika is going to waive is getting ridiculousMika hasn't mowed his lawn in a week. He's definitely waiving his NMC!!!!!
It is just copium at this point. He will be on the ice on opening night and hopefully he can carry on the way he ended the season.Seriously the list of "reasons" Mika is going to waive is getting ridiculous
Most likely. It wouldn't be the most shocking thing ever if he agreed to be move but I think there is a large disconnect in the way this board views him vs the way management views him.It is just copium at this point. He will be on the ice on opening night and hopefully he can carry on the way he ended the season.
I do think it's possible to get something out of Lafreniere.Rangers probably should keep Lafreniere. His value is low and he's a good 5v5 scorer on his worst days. mostly all is forgiven if he comes to play and plays well and this team gets somewhereIt is just copium at this point. He will be on the ice on opening night and hopefully he can carry on the way he ended the season.
Big if trueYou shoot more pucks, you score more goals. It's science.

See, he’s trying to avoid exertion even when it comes to his kid, forget the Rangers.Mika is not leaving the city. They are looking for a new home in the same area. Apparently one with less stairs.
-Chasing a 2 year old up and down 5 flights of stairs is not optimal.

I also think last season was mostly an outlier. The Rangers will have depth down the middle which is a nice advantage. Panarin, Lafreniere and Cuylle are locks top-6 wingers. Their bottom lines are solid too. Defense is missing at least one quality LD and a structure. There will be something for Sally to work with.I agree with your takes here but one major thing is if the Rangers begin to give Igor better support I expect he'll go back to being our best player. We need to straighten out the D. A young center would be nice but JT and Trocheck for now with a better defense system installed should be able to provide enough offense for the top two lines. The team has got to get back in tune with playing together and the new coaching staff have to get them back to that too. I don't think the Rangers have a bunch of awful players. I think last year was more about tuning out the coach to get back at their uncommunicative GM and then the defensive system was just trash. How many unforced uncharacteristic errors throughout the year? Just look at all the too many men penalties. How many times were we down 2 or 3 goals after 5, 6, 7 minutes?---not prepared to play from the opening face-off. How many points did we give away in the last 5 minutes of games? Many of our top players need to get their heads back on track or at least if they're still around this year.
With Igor I think it got to be just too much the team relying on him to pull a rabbit out of the hat game after game after game and Laviolette played him too much. There's a lot of psychology that goes with being a goaltender and when they're having a down period sometimes you need to give them some space and some games off to get their shit back together. Igor never really got a break last year. His posture at times was telling.......it was just too much reliance on him saving the day all the time and it seemed to weigh on him a lot more than it did some others.

Yeah, but his conditioning would be even betterMika is not leaving the city. They are looking for a new home in the same area. Apparently one with less stairs.

If we boo every time he touches the puck and when he scores, everyone stand up and turn their backs in silence - just make him cry every day - we can oust him know it!It means that hockey and the Rangers aren't his life's top concern. If you are the Stars why do you do that? I wouldn't mind trying to get Bourque for a pick or 2.3 trades
Krieder/Schnieder for Harley/ Bourque
Panarin/Jones for Barbashev/Hague
Miller to CAL for Andersson
