It could be something; it could be nothing. My prediction is Alfredsson convinces Mika and Karlsson to return to Ottawa. Perron and Giroux will be aging out of the NHL in the coming years. Ottawa gets another veteran C to help replace them.

He got almost no time with Dahlin (why? Your guess is as good as mine) and he and Byram were LOL when they played together.

Big fan of a 1 year prove it deal for K'Andre. Josh Khalfin (idk if you're here but youre a great follow on twitter) put it out there that Sullivan should be able to make him a more offensive Marcus Pettersson and I love the comparison. Both sides should like that. Rangers need to be frugal and KAM has a chance to wipe away the disappointment and cash in next summer with the cap increasing even more. Cuylle is the guy to extend long term if the Rangers decide to go that route. He could easily be a 60-70 point player with top 6 minutes and PP time.

If Sullivan can get something out of KAM, hallejujah. I don't want to trade him now with his value at a low point.

He would be one of less than a half dozen players in this league who put up those kinds of numbers (or better) while playing his style of game.

PIT’s best defensive years were when Jacques Martin was on the bench with Sullivan, but he’s an advisor now for Ottawa, and I doubt he wants to deal with a full season of coaching again. This is where Drury needs to get Dolan to throw a bag at Jay Leach if he doesn’t get named a HC this cycle. He does an amazing job coaching dmen, which is why Seattle was so successful a few years ago. Sullivan knows him from when he was the head coach in the AHL.

Make him the highest paid assistant coach. I think Toronto did that when they pilfered Dean Chynoweth from Carolina.

I thought the same when he was here. He should have been kept. Defense was doing all the little things well

Not only was Wilson not a huge scorer, his underlying numbers SUCKED. He really developed a lot.

Find a room at MSG and stick Lafreniere-Cuylle-Othmann-Edstrom-Rempe in it with 24 hours of Bennett video playing over and over....bonus points if it is playoff video . He is a nasty piece of work but you know when he is on the ice !!!
