he has good tools for the bottom6 imo. He's still young... He can be buried if need be

I will say Parssinen is the type of guy who Pittsburgh would often turn into an annoyingly useful player.

Your logic doesn't make sense. He could have gotten 5 from another team where he wasn't skeptical of the GM. Drury was also the GM for Team USA that he just coached. So....he's not skeptical of him.

Barring a miracle, it's about the only chance we have to be contenders in the next 3-4 years.

And even if they pull it off, will maybe provide a 1-2 year window to make noise before the vets on their last big guaranteed contracts decide to also put their feet up on the ottoman...the NYR way
