Speculation: Roster Building Thread: Part XX (WTF are we going to do this Off-Season edition)

I'll say this about Dolan: I used to, not really defend him, but I kinda took the stance of "eh, it's probably overblown, and he spends to the cap so whatever."

Then I started following the Liberty who he sold in 2019, and like, that organization completely transformed overnight lol.

It might just be correlation, but I've been thinking about it.

Maybe we'll get a chance to find out someday!

Just as I pulled into my driveway, a notification popped up on my phone that said "Front office news: 'New York Rangers President and General Manager, Chris Drury...'" and I literally screamed "YES!!!!!!" inside my car. Ran inside and saw that instead of being deservedly shit canned, they extended this limp penis of a buffoon and now I have to gun down a yellow bus full of nuns and orphans.

And so again, If you don't think this organization is sending a big middle finger to the entitled core I don't know what else you need to see at this point. Announcing extension for Drury right after these exit interviews where the divas are basically crying about what's been going on here should be perceived as absolutely nothing short of a shut up and do your job signal to everybody, along with the fact that they're sulking and whining isn't going to dictate what happens in the organization anymore. There's more Carnage coming...
Get rid of the emo guys. Need to move on to a new generation to represent the team.

The simulation is telling us stop following this team. But we keep ignoring the signs. Next season may be the final breaking point for me depending on how things go. Wasted too much damn time following this team. Getting too old for this shit. People have been saying for years Dolan is a good Hockey owner. No he isn't, he never was. The Mets were saved by Steve Cohen, no one is saving the Rangers. Have to pray one of Dolan's sons will be a good owner.

Like, don't get me wrong, I think this sucks. But Drury was always going to be our GM this year and I always thought that sucked.

Dolan is a reactionary (in more ways than one but don't get me started).

He's not gonna tolerate missing the playoffs again.

I will answer your post tomorrow, I hope.
Been traveling since 0530 ET. I have a lot to say on the subject.
Sounds good. The entity that has become "trouba" continually is being misexamined because people don't have the proper context as to what purpose it was serving beyond just what was calculated on the actual ice as far as player's stats. I've said this several times recently that people wanted to run him and goodrow out of here because of how bad their on ice contributions were but people completely ignored that their presence in the room and off the ice actually inflated a lot of the on ice quality of a lot of other players.

So it's like looking at somebody's salary and then trying to calculate net income versus gross income (just in reverse). In their cass everybody wanted to look at the gross losses based on their on Ice play and limitations, and people just wouldn't understand or accept that there were a LOT of factors that they were impacting in a good way that made them NOT net negatives to the team.

I'm Drury-agnostic at this point, but the one thing I've been consistent about with him is that he's not getting fired anytime soon. I'm gonna do a neener-neener thing here and ask why the hell some of you actually thought his job was in jeopardy?
