That’s definitely some sort of internal, NYR, “the right way” cultural crap. If we were a normal organization our biggest offensive prospect bar-none would be saying “yeah, you get scratched, you take a game in the press box, you get to see the way guys like Panarin create space or how hard Miller goes after pucks, the way Foxy reads this game from up there is crazy” and instead our organization is so insistent on this “earn it, do it the right way” brand of hockey (which, ironically, is the FARTHEST thing from what they actually play) that our prospects are talking about getting to watch the vaunted Sam Carrick from a different vantage point.
