The major difference is that Quinn's BU teams did nothing but underachieve with the talent at his disposal. Can't say the same about Carle.

I doubt any team will be making trades during the playoffs.

The two moves id be trying to make this offseason would be

1) Kandre and othmann for sam girard and jack drury

2) kreider for zadorov, boston may be in a very quick re-tool that could take 1-2 years and probably prefer the 2 years left on kreider rather than the 5 left on zadorov

If Drury can get that #1 no matter the cost, to get Schaefer, that's the quick fix of all quick fixes.
Everyone knows this team is going nowhere unless they shore up that LHD #2 slot after Fox.


I'd move just about anything for it, this year is a considered a light draft so this might be the year to really move up for something significant. What 2017 should've been. Would San Jose be looking at Lafreniere? K.Miller? Schneider? Cuylle? Perreault? Going to be very interesting to see how that develops but the writing could be on the wall already.
