Briton had a couple of solid seasons in the AHL but appears to have had some issues transitioning to the NHL. 23 years old

He has 8 points in 15 games last season? That without knowing his useage at all. Doesnt seem like he had a bad transition. This year he has been more meh, but maybe needs a change of scenery.

I’m happy with the return.

I’d say a currently high 3rd round pick is better than a 2nd round pick that’s two years away so I dont think he lost on this at all

Was hoping for a straight 2nd rounder but a very high third and take a chance on a prospect
He was never returning a first
I'd rather have brisson than lets say a 5th or 6th

Brisson had 37 points in 57 AHL games followed by 38 points in 52 AHL games and a call up where he put up 8 points in 15 NHL games. This year he has struggled in the AHL for some reason, but as little as 6 months ago he was thought of very highly. Definitely could bounce back. 29th OA pick, 23 years old.
