Kyper says Byfield's name is out there. He said LA and Buffalo have talked about making a deal.

Kreider and Lindgren are on his list.

Byfield for Tuch? I still like Cozens and Byram as a package from Buffalo if we can swing it. Both are good fits imo.

@NickyFotiu couldnt reply to your post for some reason but just wanted to say I don't think Kreider is faking an injury but I think its being milked by fans and media to excuse his poor play.
Fair enough. Can understand fans doing that but what would media gain? I don't think they have even mentioned it that much.

It would probably be something around Laf for Clarke. I wouldn't hate it

I really don’t see what this does for us ngl. I’m a fan of Clarke as a prospect, but we’ve got our right side basically set now that Borgen has been signed. Laf has been pretty ineffective this year, but is still signed long-term to an efficient contract, especially with the cap likely jumping significantly over the next few years. And he was by far our most dynamic guy in the playoffs, not even a year ago.

Man I would love to steal Brandt Clarke from LA somehow. He’s been handled terribly by them. I don’t think Kreider would get it done unfortunately but maybe if RobBlake is desperate enough.

He brought it up as an excuse when the team was in a tailspin. that's not leadership, its deflecting blame. Same as Trouba after the ECF. I expect more from a player I admire. Fans deserve more from this team and it's players.
called out for being total bs
also not in a tail spin as @NickyFotiu corrected

Kreider and Lindgren are on his trade board. Drury wants to make more moves.

Byfield for Laf... who says no?

The smart deal here is
Shesty, Tro, Othman + Jones
for
Byfield, Clarke, Helenius + Dvorak

we can keep LaF or deal him to Canadian based team where he has mo value

You'd either move Schneider to LD or deal him at that point. If you could get a good C prospect for Schneider that would be ideal. Thinking about it more, not sure I'd want KAM-Clarke as a 2nd pair, probably too risky from a defensive play standpoint.

Its an interesting idea though.

Whats the deal with Brandt Clarke? I see people saying he is being miss-used but he is so young (just turned 22) and has 25 points on the year. RD
For whatever reason the Kings are screwing with his ice time. King fans are frustrated by it. Kings have mismanaged lots of D the last couple years.

Another major injury for Fox.

Lol we don't even know the extent yet. Chill

I am really concerned that these injuries may mean Lindgren stays for the remainder of the year...
This is my concern as well as there should NOT be a justification to deviate from the plan to move Lindgren because Miller is injured. As I mentioned before I will give Drury the benefit of a doubt that he is working on moving Lindgren but only to the point that he's actually moved by TDL. If not Drury definitely is in the wrong.

This is what has always made the most sense to me. LA probably has a 2 year window right now with their team, their PP needs help and they have the cap space to make this work. LA is probably a desirable spot for Panarin, whose wife is a supermodel I believe.
Clarke + Depending on retention

Someone floated Kempe and Clarke. Hopefully Blake would be dumb enough. We’re due for some lopsided trade/luck

If Fox is out the nearest thing we have to a power play QB is either Jones or Brannstrom but it's a big step down.

If Fox is out that's like putting a couple more nails in our coffin. Why in the world then would we hang on to Lindgren? Not that I thought we were going to anyway but we don't have enough offense from our D as it is and Ryan's part of our issue with that.....not part of any kind of solution.

Fox being injured for me would be more reason for us to be sellers.

Just watched the Fox injury replay a few times. I know he didn't react well to it but didn't seem that horrible of a situation. I guess just trying to be positive.
I know shoulders injuries can be weird.

One of a variety of questions this raises is whether Jones/Brannstrom will get looks on the PP or if it goes to Miller.

NYR could also try a 5 forward first unit.
