NHL coaches and GM's are idiots

that's why whenever someone tries to argue that a player must suck because "he bounces around the league" or "can't find regular playing time" they're usually wrong

NHL coaches and GM's have to do some complicated shit, I'll give them a little bit of credit for that, but they're so f***ing bad with usage. It needs to be studied.

nah he'll give up a 2nd for a much worse player instead
and then trade that player with two 2nd's to get rid of the contract.

Although I must say he pulled off some houdini type stuff to get rid of Trouba and get a 4th rounder back.

I can (kind of) understand GMs being shy about roster spots just before the TDL because they want some flexibility, but in the case of the Rangers why wouldn't you offer something like Jones for Valimaki because the extra $$ doesn't matter and it's contract spot neutral? If Utah was prepared to lose him for nothing, Jones seems slightly better than that...

I'm not trying to be rude but I can't think of a way to say "I don't give a f***" that doesn't sound rude.

All these guys that apparently love playing against Fox are getting badly outscored against him (career GF% in the playoffs of close to 60%).

I'm surprised that there are guys around the league who enjoy getting outscored, but I'm not here to kink shame.

Sometimes it's not just talent but other stuff (attitude, substance abuse, not being a team guy). We see it all the time in sports. Remember in baseball when those DHs would be "washed up" or in the NFL a RB is "washed up" and then 2-3 years later goes to another team and can still play?

There's a lot of unwritten rules not all of us know about. Daniel Gonaeu when he looked like a promising young player on the Rangers. That was all about his attitude/maturity was the word.

So? Who cares what people told Jason Demers. He can go hang with Tyson Barrie, Derek Morris, and John-Michael Liles as overrated DMen.

I would be shocked if Kreider isn't dealing with a herniated disc or two. If that's the case they may not be able to get maximum value for him and he's going to be managed a lot over the remainder of his contract.

DeAngelo is back in the NHL and he's a worse player with more baggage.

I think there's just a style of play that isn't well-liked and it doesn't matter if it produces results.
