There's an awful lot of assumption here, but to humor you, since the break he has 16 points in 21 games. That's after a huge hot streak to start off February. The team has 27 games left, so we're looking at another 20 points If he keeps up that current pace, which would give him 57 points for the season. Is this really something to celebrate?
Again, I've repeated it many times that I've accepted that moving forward I expect Zib to be a roller coaster of a player, a season full of many lulls mixed in with some high points. He's not the same attacking, aggressive player he once was & certainly not capable of carrying a team. I'm not sure he ever was, honestly. However as a fan of this team, yes I'm one of those too, my hope is he can retain a semblance of an NHL player in order to raise his interest & trade value arund the league. I'm of the mind that he's not part of the solution here & not someone who'll ever be a key player on a Cup winner.
