I honestly don't know what the top 9 looks like with JT, and I don't know where Brannstrom fits.

I do know I want to see Miller where Zibanejad used to be on PP1. Miller in the left circle, he's comfortable there, and Panarin on the right.

The logical move now is to put Miller with Laf and Cuylle and AK with Panarin and Trochek because that line desperately needs a shooter. Then you can put the 2 BFF’s with Siddi on the third line and let them be a checking line. But knowing this organization they’ll try Miller on wing with the BFF’s and have Brodzinski center the third line.

Well since we pretty much don't have any relevant picks for the next 50 years or so this is it.
I am just glad GP wasn't traded (oh by the way he was a first rounder we just used a few years ago). This team trades away picks like candy.

If we weren't a 35-40 percent chance to make the playoffs maybe this deal would be a joyous one but if this team just misses the playoffs its a disaster of a trade.

Check how many decent draft picks we have over the next 3 years compared to other teams. Yes if this season is lost it will be a disaster not to mention Vancouver most likely gets a 14th/15th overall pick.

Now if they go out and replenish some of those picks with trades for CK/Mika/Lindgren that's another story but that doesn't likely happen unless we are completely out of the race by TDL.

He has five more years on his contract bud and I think he’ll be elite still for at least three of them. After that who cares? And who cares about a 2025 mid round draft pick? Rangers cant develop for shit. Drury is all in. Just go with it. But theres no possible way anyone can be upset by this trade.

Why are you upset? Because Drury gave up a middle first round pick that best case will end up a 3rd liner in 2029? Or is it the #5/6 D prospect?

If i am still watching Kreider, Smith, and Lindgren with a dash of vesey and Jones by the TDL then it all means nothing. Trade Z in the summer. Just get picks and prospects. We have none.

Its a much more formidable team on paper, than we started the season with. The team badly needed a culture change. JT wears on people but this Rangers roster needed to start taking shit seriously and there's no doubt he does. Its not a coincidence that Kreider, Mika, Vesey are all former teammates and Trocheck is a friend and tracking to be the next Captain of the team. I hope they can catch lightning in a bottle with his ex-Rangers teammates the rest of the way. The Four Nations became a lot more interesting to me. I kinda want Kreider to go now. I wonder if JT can spark him again. Kreider is not this bad as much as I rag on him recently, he controls his Rangers destiny now. This is a move that should theoretically help him a lot.

Most likely more change is coming this summer but Im pretty excited to watch the team do battle over the stretch run and into the playoffs. The naysayers are always there but if they Rangers get in they are better equipped to win it all than they have been in past year. The center depth is legitimate.

Laf needs to get away from Panarin and needs a healthy dose of JTM.
