I'm pretty sure that -0.18 inches is why it took so long to get PP time...In related news. Lafreniere was 6'1.28" when he was drafted. He's now 6'1.1". Regression is a bitch.
This. Bringing in another top 4 LHD has been the biggest need since last year. The issue is can they do it during the year or need to wait until the summer. Either way Lindgren is not the answer and they should trade him before the deadline for whatever they can get back. If they don’t bring in another d-man would try Schneider there for the rest of the year. He was decent on his off side at the beginning of the year paired with Trouba, which is no easy feat.
Schneider-Fox
Miller-Borgen
Vaak-Mancini
Prob not winning the cup with that D, but likely an upgrade on the current group and you can collect an asset to use later.
I would drop kick Panarin to another team so fast.I want to ship Panarin out and he's at the top of my list.
That's a pretty big lowball then, considering JT is actually under contract for several more years when Horvat was a pending UFA.The Rangers offer is the same offer Vancouver accepted for Horvat.

FWIW...LOL....I'll mention it again....the Sens had 6 guys playing in a game a week or so ago [maybe in the Ranger game as well ? ] that were in that draft ....3 of them first round picks in Sanderson+Stutzle +Greig and Kleven +Reinhardt +Merilainen the goalie .There were 124 players taken in the 2020 Draft from Rounds 4-7.
19 of 124 have played an NHL game. Rempe is one.
5 of 124 have 2+ goals. Rempe is one.
I'm no Drury fan/defender, but complaining about the 165th draft pick - who has already exceeded expectations for that slot by simply playing an NHL game and scoring a goal (and a playoff goal ) - is strange. If the Devils drafted him, the complaints would be that we passed on a 6'8 monster for some winger that can't skate and that the Devils get it right again.
Have we had these 5 from the 2020 Draft play in a game together this year? Or have Rempe and Berard not played in the same game?FWIW...LOL....I'll mention it again....the Sens had 6 guys playing in a game a week or so ago [maybe in the Ranger game as well ? ] that were in that draft ....3 of them first round picks in Sanderson+Stutzle +Greig and Kleven +Reinhardt +Merilainen the goalie .
Sens have at least 4 of the 5. Stutzle -Sanderson-Greig-Kleven.....We have 2 of the 5?
But you could have really just stopped at this being a Gorton crew run draft. The only guy the NYR have taken with that profile since Drury took over was Roobroeck.
It would be an odd complaint there because he’s done nothing but improve his stock since being taken.
Drury LOL...managing his new team .He was misused to an extent but what is the guarantee that he Miller wouldn't be as well? If Miller was 27/28 sure but there isn't much runway with a guy that is turning 32 by the TDL. Unless Mika is going back no thanks
Why would he only be here in 2-3 years? Are we buying him out? What if his production drops in half who is trading for him at 34/35 years of age making the money he makes?
Sens have at least 4 of the 5. Stutzle -Sanderson-Greig-Kleven.....
1. Panarin is a band-aid for the team in the regular season. As long as he's around, our offense is going to structurally rely on him for success in a "local optimum" way.Why would you want to lose him before Mika's boat anchor deal? At least Panarin only has a year left and is still a PPG player.
With that said, I'd be happy if they were both sent packing over the summer.

The Islanders were planning to sign Horvat which they did one week later. It wasn’t a rental deal. That's a pretty big lowball then, considering JT is actually under contract for several more years when Horvat was a pending UFA.
I don't do trade trees and they got the better end of the trade even with the botched pick. That Heinola is a #1D for sure
Would never be the 18 pounds ?....or X amount of Grams ....I never did get onto the Metric as a Canadian .I'm pretty sure that -0.18 inches is why it took so long to get PP time...
That has nothing to do with the price of the trade... It would've been different if Horvat had a NMC.The Islanders were planning to sign Horvat which they did one week later. It wasn’t a rental deal.
Yup...I just reread it . Thanks for clarifying.3 of those guys are 1st rounders.
OP was talking about players picked in the 4th or later.
We have 2 of the 5 (Berard, Rempe)
100%The hold up is cap retention, would you take JT Miller for half his salary, i mean Chytils next deal would be similar and he may never play 60 games again.
Is this a serious question? The hold up is cap retention, would you take JT Miller for half his salary, i mean Chytils next deal would be similar and he may never play 60 games again.
