It's a terrible trade. We're trading young players for rentals when we're not even looking to compete for the cup in the next several years, but we're giving away and trading like we are. Nope. It's bad.

They have a top 5 remaining SOS and are 5 points out.

You’re relying on playing near flawless hockey/ other teams skidding enough. It’s one thing if you have one team to hop, they’re dealing with 5.
