Miller is in the same boat as Chytil for me. If there’s a value for value offer on the table I seriously consider it.

Chytil + Miller for Cozens + Byram

Something like that
bad for us
Byram's good but overrated, also extensive concussion history
Cozen had a hot stretch that's it is also a risk

Chytil only concern is possible injury not performance
KAM has tools and potential = don't sell cheap

@ThePeoplesPeople is infallible.

I was honestly probably one of those people given the neck stuff but man that was massive swing and a miss.

The neck thing was a "big" issue because he wanted to go for a procedure that wasn't the "standard" at the time and most teams didn't want to f*** with any potential fall out if things went wrong because insurance companies wouldn't touch that shit. It was a bit boogeyman-ish but I remember the discussions around here and uh... tried my best to quell the notion that his head was hanging on by a thread and even brought up how several MMA fighters had the procedure done with excellent results (and these are guys who place a ton of strain on their necks.)

ADR itself isn't that crazy and never has been. Its been the way that several other guys have gone since (Tyler Johnson and Joel Farabee.)

I had an issue with trading for Eichel because he's good to miss a decent chunk of time every year. That hasn't changed. It doesn't matter how good someone is if they aren't on the ice to help you.

Season is about to get worse
I don't think that's possible. We had a nice cushion in the standings to start the season but we've been the worst team in the league since the Western Canadian trip.

It will just be more of the same.

What's all this talk about trading Chytil? Is there a GM out there who would stake his job on Fil's noggin? Chytil may be a throw in but he won't be a major piece in a trade. If he's healthy enough to have trade value he's better kept by the Rangers. If he''s not healthy he has no trade value.
Yes, and that is why it might be more feasible at the trade deadline where a team is making a run for the cup - in their window.
