If the team was heading to a carnivore restaurant after landing, Mika.
Had to do it.

We should hire Jim Cornette.
"I'm not socially awkward, Brian, I just don't f***in like people."
I still just wanna know which NHL player made it to even their rookie year while being afraid of flying and not already having that documented from day 1 and a team approved prescription of their own. Like I said, I think someone who was “afraid of flying” actually just wanted to throw a back a couple crispy boys and get an extra buzz.
Its not AT ALL the same as Chicago and Penn State. Are you kidding me?
Unless it’s Vinny TrocheckYou won't have this problem with JT Miller. Because JT Miller is miserable, hates people, and doesn't intermingle with players no less team employees.
Finally a JT Miller W. Drury knows how to pick em!You won't have this problem with JT Miller. Because JT Miller is miserable, hates people, and doesn't intermingle with players no less team employees.
I want to agree with this but in the end, with the way the world works and the way that sports teams or even businsses in general work, they were not going to go out and publicly tell everyone this happened and shut Panarin down.Drury should wear the fact that this was covered up as well as the fact that there was no suspension for the player with regards to this from the team. 0 accountability with the vets again, tell me that if this was Zac Jones they'd have treated this case the same way

eichel and brady tkachuk come on downNeed to assemble a team of ugly and anti-social players who think nothing else than training and winning.
(Was going to attribute this to @duhmetreE but then thought about the blowback about my attributing statements to others.)
Sometimes anxieties develop, sometimes it's manageable and all but still stressful, and players might not want to go on meds because it's seen as being a wuss or tons of other reasons.
I don't think anti anxiety meds exactly get you all buzzed either.
Do you believe in consequences? I don't.The timing of this, last day of the season, makes me think there is some motive/political angle here. But I’m not sure what it could be. Maybe not
If they’re actually afraid of flying my guess is Kakko. If they just wanted an excuse to get a buzz, Lafreniere.
No idea. But I want him.On what basis would he even be available?
Unless it’s Vinny Trocheck
yea i’ve been on a plane twice in my life and i was cooked both timesDude, I hate flying too. I'd need a f***ing Xanax or a baseball bat if I'm flying anywhere.
Could be. Also possible that they didn't have their's on them, or maybe ran out... Or maybe they are normally fine but it was super bad weather, or...I still just wanna know which NHL player made it to even their rookie year while being afraid of flying and not already having that documented from day 1 and a team approved prescription of their own. Some one who knew what happened saw that he got the good guy award and said "lol f*** that!"The timing of this, last day of the season, makes me think there is some motive/political angle here. But I’m not sure what it could be. Maybe not
i love how we’re trying to speculate who’s afraid of flying now
maybe it’s rempe?!?!? who f***ing knows it could be anyone lol
oh im not talking about you you didnt even name anyone there are people just straight up guessing who it is lmaoWell my point was that it was probably recreational in truth. If you’re on a playoff team, between pre and post season, plus any tournaments or other things, plus flying out to family out of state, you’re flying 75+ times a year. If you’re a nervous flyer, I’m sure the team doctor is aware. You wouldn’t be relying on “hey, slide me one of those benzos on the DL” to get through the travel schedule.

Fair, I was thinking of the more "lower your blood pressure" type anxiety medsValium and Xanax are two of the most common for nervous flyers and absolutely do, especially if you have a drink or two. Let’s be so for real, while it could have been an innocent Zoloft, it’s way more realistic that someone saw her popping a xanny and asked if they could have a bar. And it probably came to light because they later popped for a med they weren’t prescribed.
There's no way of knowing that. But its not worth arguing about.Team docs will almost always have a small supply of any players prescriptions for that type of instance. No matter the situation, the player did not have a prescription for the drug in question, whether it was we one that has recreational side effects or not.
When he was a player I used to call him Dark and Drury. I think I will go with that.Chris Dreary
