He wouldn’t be at all involved in this.

It would be internal counsel for MSG and the Rangers. Insurance companies. Outside counsel. Reps for Panarin. Drury would not be involved. He would be advised of it but he would not have any authority or say so in how it’s handled. It’s actually over his head.

And when you have the history MSG does (google Isiah Thomas and Anucha Browne sanders) they’re gonna pay to get rid of these things quickly whether they’re legit or not.
Drury is the President and GM. Going to believe he is involved here lol

Relax white knight. You have zero details about this story.
You're one of the last people that should be commenting to me about lack of details. I wasn't aware of this situation and I admit that, but you and several other people act like you actually know what's going on with this team and it's been proven repeatedly that there are some people on this board that do and have connections but the loudest voices on here don't know a goddamn thing

Trade them all. Deal Kreider to the highest bidder. Tell Zibanejad he's going to play on the 4th line or be scratched in his exit interview next week if he doesn't waive his NMC. Tell Panarin he's going to be placed on LTIR/administrative leave until a thorough 3rd party investigation takes place.

I'd punt on Miller and sign him to his QO/arbitration number for a year. I'd trade Lafreniere if the right deal comes along (Peterka? B. Tkachuk?).

Everyone else we're stuck with and can build around. Wash the stink off this team.
I remember reading nightmare on 34th Street and all the information that came out in that book about issues in and around on the team and then also with individual players. I don't think there's any question that somebody's going to actually read a book Center around this season in the future. That book is going to be very
Entertaining and enlightening

Drury is a failure. He’s has “managed” to destroy this locker room and drive the reputation of an O6 franchise into the toilet.

He needs to be gone immediately. Start over. Top to bottom cleaning. Address the root the problem first.

There’s some truth here. At this point we just have a lot of egg on our faces.

If Laviolette goes it’s 4 coaches across 6 years. It’s ECF > First Round Exit > Fired, ECF > No Playoffs > Fired over the last 4.

Beyond the coaches, public feuds with the active captain of the President Trophy defending ECF team at the START of the season, an early trade equivalent to exile, followed by a massive crash out from the players leading to going from President Trophy and ECF to debating which pick will be worse, this year or next.

Recent former 2nd OA traded away for relative peanuts after speaking out about his handling. Guys like Jones and DeHaan also complaining. Chytil and Mancini and a 1st traded for a 32 year old, arguably a panic/job saver type of move. Recent 1OA totally busting after 5 full seasons. Nothing in the pipe. Guys like Othmann showing nothing. Now the team’s huge offensive producer of the past several years is having public SA accusations.

It’s enough bad juju and bad press and bad vibes to justify a complete tear down regardless of who we want to apportion how much blame to. Doesn’t matter if it’s Lavi or Drury or Housley or the vets or 20/40/20/20 or what mix you think. There’s justification for just firing the entire coaching staff, firing the GM, jettisoning as many vets as you can and washing your hands of the entire saga.

Vince is weird.

He's the guy who basically brought the shit about the team not being able to communicate/mingle with MSG employees to light.

Maybe he truly didn't know the extent of what happened or the specifics about who was involved but you hear rumblings when you're that close to the situation (even if they're unconfirmed.) You'd think he would have hedged against basically fawning over Panarin because I'm sure that name had bounced around even if he didn't know for sure.
The lockdown on player-employee mingling was allegedly because of a one-night stand or something to that effect. This Panarin thing would further support why the organization has adopted a no-tolerance approach to everything. Airtight and bubble wrapped. Nothing in, nothing out.

The Russia incident, ok, maybe it was a setup by a disgruntled former associate. But now two incidents, maybe there's more to the person than meets the eye. And a day after he was voted as a media good guy.

Whoever the accuser is probably isn't a moral saint either, based on reading about her decisions. Sharing your prescription with someone? Bringing up the incident in a tit for tat way because you were being investigated for aforementioned sharing of your prescription pills?
