how did bread take her phone? did he yank it away from her? were they alone in some room or hallway when this happened? if there were others present wouldn't she say real loudly, "give me back my phone!!!" or someone who was around would have said, "dude, wtf are you doing? give it back to her."

she was scared of losing her job. so scared to ask one or two guys to accompany her and knock on bread's door? if that's the case maybe find another job?

this whole matter stinks worse than year old shit and vomit mixture.
 
The parallels between this season and 2020 are wild.

We were just begging that season to end and just when we were about to be out of the woods, Shesty gets in a f***ing car accident. This is worse.

Please please please I don’t want to read anything else about this pathetic group of idiots. Make it end.

Who else would have been around?

1) Other staffers who also aren't going to f*** with the star player on the team for fear of their job.

2) His teammates.

And here's the thing about teammates -- their instinct in the moment would have been to defend their teammate. And I get why that is but it's something about sports culture that becomes dangerous when shit like this happens away from the rink. There should be leadership that squashes this kind of shit, but being "one of the boys" is more important.

It's not likely anyone was around to help her.
 
That article about bread is beyond alarming. The fact the team covered it all season is also borderline disgusting. If they had even a remote backbone they would have pursued terminating his contract. Good luck with any thought to getting this guy to wave this summer for a trade, and even more of a bullshit to this situation is the fact that people have been talking about the rangers resigning him the summer for an extension. Even Brooks brought it up in the podcast a couple weeks ago. There's no way that they can resign him. absolutely disgusting.
And this is just another stain on the entire core and the locker room with bullshit about how they think that they can just do whatever the f*** they want. They do it on the ice, they do it in the locker room, now apparently they do it in a hotel rooms. There's just absolutely no accountability to anybody with the players

Trade them all. Deal Kreider to the highest bidder. Tell Zibanejad he's going to play on the 4th line or be scratched in his exit interview next week if he doesn't waive his NMC. Tell Panarin he's going to be placed on LTIR/administrative leave until a thorough 3rd party investigation takes place.

I'd punt on Miller and sign him to his QO/arbitration number for a year. I'd trade Lafreniere if the right deal comes along (Peterka? B. Tkachuk?).

Everyone else we're stuck with and can build around. Wash the stink off this team.

The media around the team is either willfully ignorant or just flat out dumb. Surprised Mercogliano hasnt deleted his tweet gagging on Panarin and the "Good Guy" award. Time for him to go back on paternity leave permanently.
 
Heres the thing, the Rangers can still move Panarin if they want to and he's open to it.

They aren't the only team that doesn't care about shit like this. It sucks, but thats reality.

Corey Perry had a ton of interest and got scooped up immediately after a similar situation in Chicago.
