Boeser would be an abysmal add. Like literally the dumbest add this team can possibly make this offseason.

Vatrano is basically the same player but smaller and faster and half the price of what Boeser will likely get. I hated the idea of adding Vatrano when his name was being thrown around and that would be adding McDavid compared to Boeser.

If his market blows and he’s game for a one year prove it deal then it’s worth looking into if you’re shipping a ton of goals out there are other areas of focus that need way more attention than goal scoring.

What did Brooks write about Miller's contract? People say there will be offer sheets this summer. If teams are interested in offer sheeting him and willing to give up a 1st and 3rd or a 1st, 2nd and 3rd as compensation, the Rangers should take the picks and move on. If it's one of the middling teams, the first round pick will be a quality pick in a very good draft. Calgary was interested in Philip Broberg last summer. They wanted to offer sheet Dylan Holloway and Broberg but the Blues got the deals done. The Flames have tons of cap space. Will the Flames an upper limit team? No but they will have money and there is a need to improve their left side. The Flames have all of their own picks in 2026. Two first round picks in 2026. Vegas pick from Hanifin trade. They could give up their first round pick in 2026 and still another first round pick from Vegas. Would Miller want to play in Calgary? Would he sign a 6 or 7 year contract worth $6.5M-$7M AAV to play in Calgary? Before this season, Arthur Staple was mentioning some crazy numbers with Miller. $7M. $8M. I know Staple is not very smart but the Rangers would be fools to pay that money even with the cap being $104M In two years.

Can the Rangers win with him? It's not about the Rangers have no one else at that spot. Is Miller worth the money? Is he a core guy?

These comments are a concern.

It sounds like Miller is hoping to stay put in New York, with a strategic short-term deal that takes him to his 2027 UFA summer possibly in the cards.

Two more years take him to group III. The Rangers can't allow him to walk to free agency. It doesn't sound like Miller wants to extend long-term here.

Calgary missed the playoffs this season. Next season is a question mark. The Flames haven't made the playoffs since the 2021-22 season. The Calgary 2026 first round pick could be a lottery pick assuming Drury doesn't trade it for a rental.

The Soucy trade and Vaak contract extension were weird moves. Unless Drury is preparing for Miller's exit and the other two guys give him options. Not great options but Miller isn't always a great option either.

Panarin and the woman, who was a regular part of the team’s travelling party, were at a post-game gathering at a hotel with about a dozen other players and staff members. Panarin allegedly took her phone and said he would only give it back if she retrieved it from his hotel room, the sources said. When she went to his hotel room to retrieve her device, Panarin pinned her down on the bed. She pushed him off, retrieved her phone and left the room.

Remember Vince's piece earlier this season? This is pretty much in lockstep with what seems to be the aftermath that Vince reported on.

This is why the Garden banned employees from talking to the players. Dolan is not so paranoid afterall. Jim has experience settling these type of cases.

The Rangers need a complete housecleaning. These players need to go.

Turns out the team was right to cut off ties between staff and players, eh? Would you look at that. Not a good look for Panarin considering the allegations from Russia a few years back. Rangers stood by him for that too. Great leadership. Hopefully tonight is his last as a Ranger.

Anyone who was bitching over Joel Quenville should be up in arms over this.

Also hiding in that article was that the female employee gave “anti-anxiety medication” to a player because of their mutual fear of flying. Better hope that’s the only example because that’s also a big no-no from the players side of things

Change the coach, play Zone D, that fixes 50% of our defense imo and I'm not throwing Key, Schneider or even Borgan away until we do that. It's beyond obvious that we play better defensively on the pk, and that's due to the way they play. Also, everyone in that room outside of the guys that are playing for contracts looks like they're checked out, get some good vibes back in the room and play the kids more and we're back in the game.

it also seems to be what kicked the whole thing off -- nobody said anything about the hotel room incident until this one came to light (and i guess she was being disciplined).

who wants to bet that trouba was the source for this LOL
