I’m dead dude the Rangers really put the hit out on DeHaan and said, if you don’t walk that shit back publicly, something bad is gonna happen lol
 
I don't understand why the Rangers never play Panarin on both PP units, but split both PP units evenly.

Panarin doesn't PK and already stays on for too long, which encourages Fox, Mika, Trocheck etc to stay on for too long. Let Panarin play both PP units and make the PP units interchangeable.

This gives the young guys much more of a chance. And it also forces the underperforming vets to compete for their PP opportunities. Win/win scenario.

Lavi is an idiot.

I dont really want to hear absolutes about what Lafreniere can or cant do on the power play when he's never been on it for a consistent basis. Especially when the Rangers main 5 have been overly committed to Kreider tips and Mika one-timers that havent worked since last years playoffs at the earliest.

MSG and the Rangers do not try to grow the game.

Not a single Ranger is heard on a podcast, fan or credentialed media. I don't know if any of them have been on Spitin Chicklets. I haven't heard a player on WFAN this year. Vince had to circumvent that last year by playing interviews he recorded in the locker room on his show. But I don't think he's done that this year, which makes me believe he got his hand slapped.

I don't understand the fear MSG and Rangers brass clearly have for this.

Do the Knicks operate the same way? Don't two of them have a podcast in which even Dolan was on himself?

Am i to believe not going on podcasts is contributing to the Rangers not playing well on the ice? I get that fans enjoy this content nowadays but it wasnt an issue last year

Guess you never saw pre-beard, his draft to large stretches of his first NYR season - not necessarily anymore appealing than his bear, CK... he looked like Sakic IIRC

Hayes and Yandle were. I know they did an episode from Hayes' apartment in NY when he was playing here. Hank did an episode while he was still playing too but it was a really short spot.

The lack of accessibility is nothing new (and yes, its the same with the Knicks.) IIRC people who wanted to book players for public appearances basically had to jump through flaming hoops while juggling knives in order to make it happen.

I don't know what the perceived benefit of operating this way is.

So the team has better options.

This is all being taken as a quality assessment, when it's just an opportunity assessment.

No coach trying to compete would put him out there. He was like our 8th best powerplay forward when Cuylle, Kakko, and Chytil were all on the roster. And he was the first guy on PP1 anyway because this team gives him opportunities!!

You wanna just not compete and let things lie where they lie to see what guys can do? I'm fine with that.

How about this year? LOL!

It's weird. The players do signings from time to time. Some are in NJ in Woodbridge I think, and some are at Mustang Harry's in the city. I'm not sure if those have to be cleared by the Rangers though.

I mean it really is a gulag.

My point is that any grading system is flawed when they actually didn't design success around guys like Laf and Cuylle. So, Cuylle had a bit more success. Whoopee. The system was designed for the vets and everyone else was playing against a stacked system that didn't favor them.

Kakko went from 2 points/60 to 1.80 points/60. Nothing changed. He just played more.
