For me this season has been a f***ing disaster and I just want it over with.
My younger brother who was a Rangers fan died last month and though we didn't talk that often.....he was living out in Washington state......when we did we usually talked a bit about the Rangers. So I'm heading out later this month for his funeral service and the rest of me is like f*** this shit.....let the spring come and tune out sports for a while. I don't really care which team wins as long as it ain't another metro area team.
So sorry. I lost a brother a few years back. We were both fans going back to 92/93 (lucky punks).
It definitely makes watching piss poor play feel worse. I've said a few times this season that he's spinning in his urn watching this! <3
Sorry for your loss. I lost my big bro in 2019. Life hasn't been the same since.
Same here, and same year. I'm guessing similar ages based on username. =)
We shared watching a Cup win and playing FFIII within like one crazy formative year!
It's so tough. It'll never be the same. It will get easier over time, but never actually get "easy."
Anyway, sorry to get depressing.
These Rangers sure are depressing, huh? Every shot against is a goal. This is lunacy.
Housley just has to go. There is a long list of viable pariahs, but he's at the top.
Every player/staff that wants to "ask out" this summer is encouraged to do so. Regardless of age, tenure, or NTC status.
There is too much talent on this roster for this to be the result. Something's rotten. Everyone (including all of us as fans, funny enough) is simply "checked out" for all sorts of combinations of different reasons.
Hockey's different here.
